Hluhluwe Bush Camp is a privately owned farm with 5 very luxury self catering/glamping tents, 2 adventure tents with own outside bathroom and a 4 x 4 camping, overlooking False Bay Park one of the 11 World Heritage Isimangaliso Wetland Parks and completely surrounded by pineapple fields and bush.
WHEN TO TRAVEL
Hluhluwe is beautiful all year round, this in comparison to other provinces in South Africa. The summertime can be hot and humid, especially in January and February. The humidity does attract a lot of birds and butterflies. Due to the rain in the summer, the natural colours are more distinct at this period of the year. Do you like to see big animals like rhinos, elephants, and lions? Then the dry season is recomended. This is because nature is drier and causes it easier to spot the animals. Of course, you can spot the animals all year round. The dry season runs from April till October.
Hluhluwe Bush Camp offers 5 enticingly luxurious self-catering glamping tents.
Its simple design belies the luxury within, with room for proper beds in separated bedrooms, and a stylish bathroom with a large, unique shower, basin and toilet, well-equipped kitchen and dining area. All rooms have fans for those hotter nights and a spacious veranda, where you can enjoy the great outdoors, a quiet moment with a book or a coffee, completes the look. It’s perfect for couples, a family holiday, or a breakaway with friends.
All activities are self-drive or we can arrange for a private guiding experience into the parks. There are also walking trails around camp and locally there are further walking and mountain biking trails.
