The famed Great Migration of wildebeest and accompanying zebra arrive in the Masai Mara from July-October (exact timings can differ year-to-year). Amboseli, home to the famed herds of magnificent elephants, is ever a must-do destination and on clear days, get stunning views of Mt Kilimanjaro.
Birding is excellent year-round, from beautiful migratory birds to resident species. Low season (January-June and November) is also a fantastic time to escape the crowds, with equally amazing sightings and experiences.
