Why is this safari better?

10 days of fun, excitement and adventure is the right description of this 10 day Uganda safari that takes you to 4 different national parks in both north-west and western region of the country, and the unmatched Lake Bunyonyi with over 27 significant islands surrounding it, and once described as the “Switzerland of Africa”. You will engage in game drive exercise in Murchison falls and Queen Elizabeth national parks, track the chimpanzees in Kibale forest national park and the mountain gorillas in Bwindi impenetrable forest national park, relax at Lake Bunyonyi, view the world’s most powerful waterfalls, and watch the unforgettable geographical demonstration at the equator.

Sustainability: Your booking supports local guides and communities through eco-conscious travel and supporting local enterprise through community visits and purchasing of local crafts. Permit fees for gorilla and chimpanzee trekking go directly to assisting conservation within the parks and supporting local employment.

When to travel?

The best time to visit Uganda is between June to August and December to February, which is during the Dry seasons. Wildlife viewing is at its peak. Primate walks in the forest are a big part of any safari in Uganda. The habitat of rainforests is, by default, very wet, and one can’t avoid rain completely. However, after heavy rain, the skies often open up to bright sunshine.

High Season: June to September, December (you’ll need to book your gorilla permits long in advance)
Low Season: March, April, May, October, November
Best Weather: June-July and January-February (little rainfall)
Worst Weather: March, April and May (wet season)
